Friends of State Parks, Inc. is hosting our biannual conference to benefit our state parks through the efforts of existing Friends Groups, Park Advisory Committees, staff at all levels and other park support groups, at the Conference Center in Haw River State Park in Browns Summit, NC on April 26-28, 2019 We are seeking sponsors for the 2019 Friends Conference. Friends hosts a biannual conference for state park friend’s groups leadership and their park leadership to meet, celebrate and network. Conference participants will learn about ways to provide better non-profit and recreational opportunities to millions of visitors who come to enjoy North Carolina’s finest public lands. The North Carolina Friends of State Parks is proud to host this year’s conference at Haw River State Park from April 26-28, 2019, and showcase the best our volunteers have to offer in North Carolina. Your Audience We expect an estimated 75 participants representing 41 state parks in North Carolina. The participants will be a blend of park leadership, friends group decision-makers and program staff who attend to take advantage of the opportunity to network with their peers and to learn about new programs, trends and products that can enhance their visitor services. The Benefits of Sponsorship Participating as a sponsor enables you and your organization to showcase your brand and interact with state park volunteers and their park leadership. ■ Presence. Sponsorship maximizes your visibility, providing opportunities to showcase your products and services. Sponsors are encouraged to participate and actively engage in the conference activities, both on-site and off-site. All attendees will enjoy sessions that provide insight into non-profit and park operations, as well as provide opportunities to be a part of both formal and casual conversations with fellow conference participants. ■ Affirmation of State Park Values. Sponsors demonstrate a commitment and support of the efforts and values that state parks provide to their visitors and their surrounding communities. ■ Speaking Opportunities. Some levels of sponsorship will include speaking opportunities. ■ Exhibit Opportunities. Sponsors have the opportunity to showcase their products at designated times and locations throughout the conference. Sponsor displays may be located at the sponsored venue. ■ Product Placement. Sponsorship includes placement of products, samples or promotional materials in conference bags, at meeting tables and in conference support materials. ■ Conference Website and Program. All sponsors are recognized in the conference program and on the conference website, and their company/organization logo will be hyperlinked on the sponsor’s website. ■ Daily Slideshow. Each morning during the daily sessions, a slideshow will feature scenes from the previous day’s activities. The sponsors of the current day’s events will be shown on the slideshow. ■ Signage. Sponsors will receive signage at their sponsored event, where appropriate. ■ Connections. Sponsors receive an electronic directory of all conference participants following the conference.

Sponsor will have a full-page ad in the program, a link on the conference website, the opportunity to speak at the event and a presence on the following day’s slideshow. A North Carolina Welcome! $2,500 Friday Opening session, April 26 Sponsorship will offer a speaking opportunity, a ½-page ad and a website link, as well as a presence in the next morning’s slideshow. Saturday Breakfast $2,500 Saturday Morning, April 27 Sponsorship includes ½-page ad, a link on the website, literature display and a presence on the following morning’s slideshow. Sunday’s Breakfast $2,500 Sunday Morning, April 28 Sponsorship includes ½-page ad, a link on the website, literature display and a presence on the morning’s slideshow. Evening Hospitality Suite $1,000 Serve as the evening host for the end of the day hospitality time in one of the cabin conference suites complete with bar and wide screen television. An assortment of beverages and snacks will be the prefect relaxing end for each day of the conference. Sponsor will receive a business card ad, a link on the conference website and a presence on the following day’s slideshow. Hospitality Suite sponsorships available for: Friday Evening, April 26 Saturday Evening, April 27 Evening Entertainment $1,000 This area of North Carolina is filled with a variety of talented musicians and artisans. Where possible, entertainment will be provided by local talent. This will be the case for the evening musical entertainment. Sponsor will receive a business card ad, a link on the conference website and a presence on the following day’s slideshow.
